Internship opportunity
Internship positions open immediately to work with Bert Rodriguez studio located in Miami, Fl near the Wynwood arts district.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the artist with:
-Occasionally acting as liaison between the artist and various galleries, museums, institutions, and clients
-Organizing and maintaining press, mailing, and financial databases
-Updating and maintaining inventory/archive of artworks
-Researching possible grant opportunities
-Preparing press and information packages for mailing
-Updating and maintaining website
-Research and development of various projects for national and international exhibition
-Occasional image/video production for use in packages, website, press, etc.
-Occasional light duty production, packing, and installation of artwork
-Occasional documenting of events and performances for archival purposes
Preferences: (Not required to apply)
-Experience with Apple operating system
-Experience with programs such Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Final Cut Pro, and Dreamweaver
-Available at least two days a week
Position is ideally suited for students currently enrolled or recently graduated, looking for hands-on experience working directly with an artist in all aspects of creative practice. Although, anyone interested is welcome and encouraged to apply, all applicants must be organized, open-minded, self motivated, and eager to learn.
All interns have the possibility of advancement.
